Zhejiang Botai Furniture — brand BJTJ — has built office and upholstered seating in Anji, Zhejiang since 2003. Today it runs 117,000 square metres of modern factories with more than 1,400 staff.
We started in Anji — the county that grew into China's chair-manufacturing cluster, with the whole supply chain for mesh, foam, gas lifts, bases and frames packed into a small radius. Growing up inside that ecosystem is the simplest reason we can quote competitively at volume: the parts we depend on are made next door, not trucked in.
Scale is the part of our story that matters to a buyer. 117,000 square metres of standard factory space and 1,400-plus people is what lets us take on a large office fit-out, a retail programme or a multi-container order without sub-contracting it out the back door. We would rather you audit the floor than take our word for it.
What we research, and what we don't claim
Botai is a recognised National High-Tech Enterprise and runs its own enterprise technology centre and a seating research institute, so mechanisms and frames are developed here, not only assembled. We are careful about certificates: our products are built and tested to BIFMA and EN standards and we arrange third-party reports per order, but we do not print a blanket "certified" badge we cannot hand you on paper.
Where we are honest about our limits
We are a seating and sofa factory, strongest in office chairs, mesh task chairs and upholstered lounge. We also make bar, leisure and children's chairs. If your enquiry sits outside that — a product we would have to outsource — we will say so rather than take the order and disappoint you on the second container.
